It is something I would check with your doctor, maybe he can offer you some support with your desire to quit.

I know that smoking increases your chances of having a heart attack or stroke.

I worry about my dd because she is in her twenties and also a smoker.

It is up to her though hopefully she will quit.

I am a non-smoker but my beloved Mom had a heart attack and died and she was a smoker.

Both of her parents smoked and had heart health issues.

Maybe your family doctor could suggest healthy alternatives for you and snack on healthy snacks.

So when you get the urge to smoke you might grab something that is more healthy and will not increase your weight.

I think we all need a healthy balance.

Do it for yourself for your furture.
