How many calories should we be eating? One web site says 12 for every pound which gives me a total of....
2820 Calories a day!!
I saw this on the web site http://www.split.com/fat/ under the "breaking plateaus". It said that we should eat a minimum of 12 calories per pound (current weight, not goal weight) and better yet 13-15 calories. (at 15 calories, I'd have to eat 3450 a day! The page writer says that this is to keep the body out of starvation mode.
Now I have been counting calories, and the biggest number I had was on day #1 of induction when I ate 2000 calories. Monday, I only ate 1300 calories. Too few I know.
I guess I'm just wondering what the correlation is between high calorie/low carb. I hope someone knows.
