WLS Status: Post-op (RNY August 27, 2008)
Goal for the month of May (doesn't have to be weight loss related): Get more exercise. After the m/c I stopped exercising. When I got pregnant again I didn't want to "over do it" and now I'd like to get back on the horse. I FEEL a difference when I walk up the stairs at work.
Tell us something you are proud of accomplishing in the last month: I was happy to tell our families that we are expecting.
Do you have an event, etc. that you are looking forward to this month: I have another u/s a week from today and Mark will be able to make this appointment. I've heard the HB twice and he hasn't (he's sad he's missed it) so I can't wait for him to hear it!

Goal for the month of May (doesn't have to be weight loss related): I finished up my last assignments for this semester last night, so I'm going to count that! We also need to start the financial aid process for Matthew going to college next year.
Tell us something you are proud of accomplishing in the last month: It was a really productive month around here. I'm most proud of making that call to set up my informational session. I have reached 2 years at my job this month. As for the family, oldest DS, Matthew, got accepted to the college he wanted and finally got a job! Blessings have abounded this month! God is good.

Not that I can think of. Next couple months will have better answers to this one! :)

WLS status: RNY Bipass on December 7th 2009. I lost 40 lbs pre-surgery and 102 since surgery.
Goal for the month of May (doesn't have to be weight loss related): Try to find something I can eat without feeling sick. It is so frustrating!
Tell us something you are proud of accomplishing in the last month: I got back in a schedule for working out. I turned 50 and feel better than ever!

Yes, I am going to Las Vegas to celebrate my birthday. I cannot wait.

To continuing losing, swimming and walking better. Honestly I can't image feeling better, but I know it's coming!!!
Oh and Melissa's baby is due on my birthday... gotta love a baby scorpio!
