A monthly roll call to see who is here (FYI- there was a roll call from June 2009 that was bumped up last week which I know confused some posters). I still wanted to post this months roll call even though some of you answered the questions from last years roll call.

Name: Melissa
WLS status: RNY Aug. 27, 2008
Plans for the summer: Work- one quick weekend in NJ to look forward to and then my parents will be up to visit for my birthday in July.
Goal for the month of June: Get myself moving more. I played tennis Sunday but my heartrate got too high as my midwife wants it lower than 140 bpm. I had to almost stand still to achieve that. I LOVE tennis so this made me realize I'll have to stick to walks for now :(
What milestone are you most proud of yourself for so far?: That I was able to run 2 miles at one time without stopping.

Name: Wendy

WLS status: I've had several appts. Monday I see the nutritionist again and have the u/s on my abodomin. They also want to check my blood work to make sure my iron has gone up. I've been good at taking my iron supplements with vitamin c, so I hope that helps. My only problem now is that they want me to see a therapist before WLS and I've called 5 so far and either they are away or don't specialize in what I'm looking for. I'm afraid the therapist situation will stall my WLS date :(

Plans for the summer: We live across from a lake, so I hope to swim a lot and just enjoy the nice weather. Maybe a short trip in August.

Goal for the month of June: try to get all my WLS criteria met so I can get a surgery date.

What milestone are you most proud of yourself for so far?: cutting back drastically on soda. I used to drink a ton of it.
