Wrapping the arms around my legs for sure! Being able to bend over without having to spread my legs to make room for my stomach. (make sense, I don't mean to be gross) Being able to stand up out of a chair without having to scoot first. GETTING RID OF MY CPAP MACHINE - I really hope that thing goes. Shaving...
I look forward to not crawling on my hands and knees after getting out of the boat at the cabin to get to the upper dock because I can't stand up without pulling up on something.
I look forward to canoeing at sunset with dh. Haven't wanted to get in the canoe for years.
I look forward to not sweating just sitting when the weather is like it is now.
I look forward to going swimming without little kids staring at my extra fat around my thighs.

l'll start...........
Today at the gym I only need 1 towel (our gym provided little white towels) to wrap around me out of the shower!
Achievements -
Not gasping for air by the time I get to the office at the kids' school (up hill, a few stairs, another hill and full flght of stairs).
To be able to sit with my knees drawn up in front of me with my arms wrapped around my legs (does that make sense?).
What I'm looking forward to:
Wrapping the arms around my legs for sure!
Being able to bend over without having to spread my legs to make room for my stomach. (make sense, I don't mean to be gross)
Being able to stand up out of a chair without having to scoot first.
GETTING RID OF MY CPAP MACHINE - I really hope that thing goes.
Shaving...
There's a few, I know there will be more.
Hoping that my thighs stop rubbing together at some point
Hoping that my sweating stops (it has decreased but isn't gone!)
Happy that
Great thread, Alice!
1) Not sweating. Immediately after surgery I went from sweating ALL of the time (including winter with sub zero temps) to be cold all of the time.
2) Not being out of breath when talking or walking.
3) Being able to excercise and LOVING tennis again.
4) Having my cycles regulated and getting pregnant (finally)- this should have been number one ;)
5) Being social again as I am no longer self conscious. My whole life is different and definitely for the better!!
I'm bumping this back up - LOVE this thread. I think it should be sticky!!
I rode to the lake this weekend with my foot tucked under me, I can now cross my arms across my chest - and I'm lost just 20lbs!
wearing my Mom's diamond bracelet she left me... I'll take a pic of that one when it happens!!
OK, who is next?
Check out my blog:
