I'm looking for ones particularly about regaining trust in relationships, and getting through a breakup. Thanks

i dont know of any specific books, but i imagine the self help section of any bookstore, or perhaps the psychology section. wherever they have the Chicken Soup for the Soul books would probably have books on rebuilding your life after a break up, you know?

i'd also search on barnes & noble.com and browse around there if you'd rather not walk around the bookstore looking for something.

sorry if that wasnt helpful, just a little suggestion.

and you can always post here and vent whatever you're feeling about your break up--maybe our experiences and advice can be just as good as a book :D

g'luck!

Hi! I found a lot of books in the self help section that helped me get through a breakup, especially the whole trust issue. I kind of found that they all pretty much say the same thing (from the ones that I read, at least). However, it is nice to read because it takes up time and keeps you busy. The only book I see that I bought during that time is "Forgiving the Unforgivable".. I also bought Men are From Mars, Women are From Venus.

HAng in there! As much as I did not believe it, it really does get better!

Hi there....I have found a few that have helped me through some of the tougher days. The first one is "The Blue Day Book" by Bradley Trevor Greive. It's just a little pick me up for when you are down...he also has one called "Looking for Mr. Right" again just a feel better book for when you are down. One that I found really good...for me anyways is a book called "I used to miss him, but my aim is improving" Not your ordinary breakup survival guide. It's really funny and it makes you laugh a bit which I found really helps...she makes you see things in a different light and the writing is quite humourous, all about seeing yourself as the "sassy diva" you are. The author is Allison James. and lastly one that I have been reading is "How to break your addiction to a person" by Howard M. Halpren. I realized in myself that I have an addictive personality and really have a hard time letting people go...this books has helped me to see the different traits in myself and how I can work with them to get me through my breakup and make me a stronger person by realizing that I don't need him to survive. Like I said these are just a few books that I have found that have kinda helped me through hard days. I hope my suggestions help. good luck

How to Survive the Loss of a Love.

It's nurturing, healing, and even inspiring. It was recommended to me by several people when I broke-up with my BF, and I was so glad I got it.
