When you break up with someone, your mind tends to dwell on all the good things about him, making your loss seem that much greater. Your memories might even become exagerrated, remembering things and events as being better than they were.
Here's an idea. Whenever you start pining for the guy, or missing him, or remembering the good things, quickly replace the memory with something you didn't like about him. Like he always had bad breath, or he was horribly messy, or he slobbered too much when he kissed, or he always interrupted you when you were talking and never let you get a word in.
This isn't such a negative thing. It's easy to forget when you're going through a breakup that there were bad things. Your guy wasn't perfect. There were things that drove you nuts. If remembering these things helps you get over him that much quicker, more power to you!
