C'mon Ladies!

We should all make our own New Years Resolutions for the love department. It's going to be a new year and we have to make a commitment to be stronger people in our love lives. I promise that next year I will stay strong and hold out for the one. Also, that I will pay attention to the RED FLAGS, that I often ignore. And that I won't settle for less than someone who adores me and who I adore back, even if it means a 1000 more lonely nights!!! What about you guys? New Years resolutions?

Peacefrog, this is a great idea.

My New Years Resolutions:
- To be open to meeting all kinds of people and making new friends
- To not put all of my emotional self into one person before I've really gotten to know them
- To focus on attaining my personal goals, and not being part of a relationship which conflicts with those goals

Great thread!

I'd have to say that mine is the same as last year's ... to be happy regardless of whether not I'm single or in a relationship! You can't depend on someone else for your happiness and you've got to be happy with yourself first and foremost!

Great Thread!

I found dates sometimes help me form boundaries. Also I find as I get older I become more committed to me. Here are my goals:

1. Continue No Contact
2. Love myself
3. Continue reading Mastery of Love, The Power of Your Subconcious and Four Agreements, my three bibles
4. Continue prayers and meditation
5. More time with family and friends
6. Lose 5 pounds for my next b day
7. Some form of exercise daily
8. A massage, pedicure or some treat for me each month
9. Drink less alcohol (two wines and I am out and feel horrid so feel ready to just let it go)
10. Less sugar in my diet
11. Do not lose myself to a man.
