Welcome to the board ronnie5303,

Some people cannot be alone for any length of time and run right into the next relationship and in his case marriage.

I really get how you feel about this. I began dating this guy, Tim freshman year of college. We were both 18 years old and fell in love quickly.

I can't say I really agree with that, dating wildly. For women, in general, it's like cutting your nose off to spite your face. WE are TRULY unable to separate our emotions from things we do sometimes - which is why most of the one night stands I've heard my friends do end up in weeks of point-less agonizing.

Anyways, in terms of getting over a jerk - well, Le coeur a ses raisons que la raison ne connait pas. And sometimes that reasoning is so completely flawed, you want to take it out and let logic have a good hard stomp on it. time and time again, you see women who are belittled, taken advantage of, and abused go back for more in the name of love. Love really makes use stupid sometimes. But unfortunately, there's nothing one can do but sludge through the pain and use logic as your guide when you feel like turning back.

And those backward days...will pass

cheers
Susanna
