I truly understand where you're coming from, because just maybe a month and a half ago, I felt just as you do now. I had been dating a guy for two and a half years, and we broke up for a month and a half-around Thanksgiving, and during this time, he was interviewing for jobs out of the state. I found out about this through someone else, and I was devastated, although we hadn't had any contact with each other during that month and a half. Long story short: Just because things are the way that they are right now, does not mean that they will remain as they are right now. And just because the two of you aren't together at the moment does not mean that it's not meant to be. Trust me, I thought the same exact thing, and I didn't want to hear what anyone else had to say-I just wanted to deal with things on my own, and I was wishing the holidays would come and go so that this would all be over with. Well today is my last day here at work, because after I truly told him how
I understand; however I thought the same exact thing. For whatever, I truly hope that things turn out in your favor, and I wish you the best of luck...
Sorry this is going on for you right before the holidays! I am totally in your boat! My boyfriend has been ignoring me for the last 5+ days(he claims he didn't mean to because he was studying for finals but what do you call it when he doesn't even call for 5 days). His last final was yesterday so I thought we could FINALLY talk and maybe see eachother... but no... no call or anything until I try to get a hold of him. He would barely respond to my text messages and wouldn't answer his phone. He in fact turned off his phone. Come to find out that he went out with some other girl! Nice Christmas present don't you think!!! I don't even know if I can pretend to be happy, its just so close to Christmas and I thought that finally I would have someone special that I loved and who says he loves me around for the holidays. Some to share the season with, to buy a present for, etc. But now I am left with a broken heart. My solution to get through this season is going to be Egg Nog! Lots and lots of Egg Nog!
I hope you cheer-up. Hopefully being around family will put a smile on both of our faces!

Welcome to the board ivdaisy4,
It's hard to go through a break up during the holidays.
I feel for you.
Hi ivdaisy4~

I totally understand how frusterating it is.
Although it seems like a long road with no light at the end of it, just know that this will pass.
