Some of you may know that I've been involved with someone for the past five months.

*hugz*

I don't think you need any advice, since you're one of those people always on top of their game, but I think some hugs and support are in order.

All the best

Thanks, yes, hugs and support are much appreciated!

I do know what to do and how the process works, having been through this far more times than I care to count--but of course I'm wishing I had that fast-forward button right now so I didn't have to go through it!

Hey Sheri,

I'm so sorry that happened, and the timing of it all. I'm inclined to believe there isn't anyone else, that he honestly got caught up in his own muck and couldn't see straight enough to get himself out of it, and unfortunately the relationship is a casualty of the fallout from that.

Still sucks, though.

Amazing how relationships teach us more about ourselves than anything else can. It's hard finding that balance I know you've been seeking. How much is enough, how much is too much... it can get a bit tiresome and exhausting so the feeling of relief is totally understandable too. As someone else mentioned in another post, it's best to leave "him" back in 2007 and start the year out fresh.

Hugs, sweetie.

Sheri,

I'm sorry this happened. I hear you about the stressful nights of waiting for a phone call. At least 2008 is a new year, and you (we) can leave that stuff behind us.

I echo the others -- your levelheaded-ness on this board has been really valuable to me. Sending some good thoughts your way...

Sheri,

You were so helpful and honest to me when my BF posted on this board (the infamous "Snooping Girlfriend" post) and I know exactly where you're coming from.

Thanks--yeah, the timing was not great, but at least the breakup happened on Monday so I could start the new year fresh--that IS something!

I appreciate the hugs!

Sheri

Thanks--yes, I realized last night how *calm* I felt, not waiting for a phone call from him!
