I lost it

The guy I liked & have distanced with my insecurity, got home from spending NYE with his married male friend & that man's son, and was acting weird to me on the phone. I think he could sense my jealousy, when I tried to ask him casual questions re. NYE. He also acted like he didn't want to really get together (he kept saying "we'll see"), when I mentioned the events he had said he wanted to do with me a few days ago (going to First Night next year, going to see a movie...). Maybe he sensed my desperation? I finally lost it & asked if he was seeing someone, when he mentioned that he was not going to stay here long, but would be going to stay in the nearby city where he spent NYE (he has an apt here - well, his parents, but they're out of state). My sister works for him, and he mentioned to her that he played card games with his married guy friend & his son after NYE, so it looks like he wasn't with any woman. He did call me back later after he had eaten & was a bit nicer (I guess he was tired & hungry from his trip). I was jealous & insecure for no good reason. But.... he mentioned that he hadn't had any email at the end of his 2nd call. This is the 2nd time he's mentioned this to me in a few days. The jealous thoughts came back - what if that friend of his sister's that she was trying to set him up with is emailing him (she has his email). He did sort of say that I could go with him to that city when he goes, tho'. If he was seeing someone there, why would he invite me?
Why I am thinking these thoughts? What do I do next? He will be going back to his parent's home in less than a couple of weeks. It sounds like we might not get to spend hardly any time together.
Can anyone help me?
