Jealous Ex

so, my bf of a year and a half broke up with me last thursday. yesterday was our first day of NC, and i was proud, also because he just moved and now has internet, so hes always on msn, but i still dont talk to him. i was going to make sure i did the whole weekend with NC. i was planning on hanging out with a mutual friend tonight before going out with the girls. i guess our mutual friend (guy) was talking to my ex saying he and i were hanging out tonight. i got a message from my ex telling me not to steal his friends, i asked what he was talking about, and he said "hanging out with (our friend)" i said maybe, until the girls get off work. i asked my friend about it, and apparantly my ex told him if he touched me he would kill him (joking or not?)

how can i deal with this? my ex was always jealous, even of our friends, one of the reasons why if we were together when he moved into his buddys house, i could only hang out in his room, not with his friends in the living room, and he always got jealous when i went out. now that i'm single, how do i deal with this jealousy?

Better not to allow him access to you in any way...even if that means not hanging out with mutual friends! Read the post about NC!! xx I would delete him off you msn too!

Welcome to the board alaskarisin,

Well, just because he sent a message didn't mean you had to answer it or engage him in conversation.

oops sorry i posted under my old name. but anyways i was wondering if its harmless, to talk to him on msn. i know it defeats no contact, but we are still in love and i want to try again with him in the future, would msn hurt that? im not sure!

No, it's not harmless because it prevents you from moving on.
