Anyone who's been curious or confused about issues of abuse, why men abuse women, why women stay, what to look out for, the dynamics of the relationships, etc., etc., etc., please take a look at the new post in the Information and Resources section:
Audio interview on abuse

It's an audio interview with Lundy Bancroft, therapist and expert on abusive men, author of several highly respected books, all on the subject of domestic abuse.

If you're at all interested, it's well worth your time to have a listen. He explains so much that I've tried to from time to time, only he says it so much better! (big surprise there). I hope you'll give it a listen. It's important information, you never know when it might help you address a friend, sibling, coworker, or even yourself. No one in an abusive relationship went there expecting to be abused.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on it too.

???? When I click the link in your post, I get an article called "The Truth About the Power of Love"? It's good, but it's not an abuse article.

Ack! You're right! I put the wrong title with the wrong link. How embarrassing! I'm sooo sorry and thank you so much for letting me know! That'll teach me to post them without clicking them to make sure they're set up the way they should be!

Now the link will get you where you need to go!

WOW! That is one great interview! Everybody should hear this, it explains so much. I know it validated the heck out of me in my past situation. Long, but definitely worth the time. This will help a lot of people.
