Does OLD make a person "pickier"?

Sort of new to OLD, but not to dating (-; It seems as though perhaps people become more picky about whom they will pursue a date with via OLD vs the regular "old fashioned meet someone type" dating. Is that true for you? Has that been your experiences with others?
But then, even if it seems as though your match is a great fit, the other may still be very picky and not feel the same towards you!!!
Ya know what sucks even more IMO!? When YOU find the "perfect match" for you, but you are not the "perfect match" for the other for one reason or another, or just because perhaps the other has become a more picky person via the entire OLD process.

This is exactly the reason I have quit OLD: The Wish Lists.
It's ridiculous.
It's one thing to want someone who doesn't smoke, has similiar values, and so forth.
It's entirely another to want someone who's 6'5", black hair, blue eyes, likes Orson Wells movies - and if your date doesn't fit these requirements he gets passed by.
