I received a wink from a not-so-bad looking guy on match so I emailed him last night. He emailed back this morning and we exchanged a few more emails. I asked him how match.com was treating him. He said he had just signed up and I was his first contact! I jokingly said I was honored to be his first. Then he said since I was a "pro" (just kidding) what do we do now? So....should I ghost!??? bwaaaa hahhhahaaaaa Let him learn the hard way the truth about OLD??!!!!! Okay, I'm being silly. I also can't tell from his picture if his hair is a toupee (sp?) or not! That's horrible. Anyway, we left if that we'll keep in touch and plan to meet in the coming weeks since he'll be out of town 2/6-2/10. Who knows. I'll have to break him in!!

He's probably playing you... I've doubted nearly everyone who told me that they were "new". Half of them knew more about the service than I did.

Interesting, LG. Whenever a guy has told me he's new, I never considered that he might be lying. I just worry that he's still got "kid in the candy store syndrome" and once he sees how many women are out there in OLD World, he'll toss me aside like an old shoe :)

The only time on Match.com that I believe the "I'm new" is if they have NEW stamped in the upper right of the profile. Otherwise to me the "I'm new" means they are making their profile active again after having been on before...

I never thought about it that way. I'll have to check his profile.
