SIGH... I guess they figure they will just go for the amusement (read SELAZE) factor on this one. Obviously the romance thing isn't working so let's just go for the hookup! I wonder if they'll let the women know that there is almost NO chance they will come out of this with a relationship but instead will just be hooking up with a good-looking celebrity horn dog.
I'm with you. I like the Bachelor/ette because of the silly, sweet romantic factor. The hope that someone COULD meet someone on a TV show is fun and there really have been some romantic stories on there. But going the celeb route obviously didn't work at all with Jesse Palmer and I think this would be even worse. I am not looking for some player to hook up with as many women as possible, I can go to any sleaze bar in Dallas if I want to see that.
BTW - have you read ANYTHING on Byron and Mary? I read the one article in People shortly after the show, but since then, nothing. I guess we would have heard if they had split up though.
I heard they were at a game in Sacremento this week; Mary sang to the national anthem and Byron was by her side. She and he both want kids. He’s in his 40’s and she’s in her late 30’s. They both have been thru it and both don’t have time on their hands – I’m hoping they have the determination and love to make it work out for them.
That's cool. I hope they make it too. They were one of the few that I actually had thought might work along with Trista and Ryan, Jen and Andrew and Meredith and Ian. All the others, I didn't think would last. But yes, they need to hurry up!
