I saw this website on 'barbrocks' post and thought I'd try it today.
www.loveandseek.com
I signed up today and have already received two emails and three 'flirts'.
Not alot of members in my area but, hey, something new to try. I responded to an email from one guy who had a very nice profile and good looking picture. Lives about an hour away.

It's fairly cheap, too ($9.95/month).
Yup, a new face is an amazing thing. I think that men go a little nuts when they see a new, attractive profile out there. They have spent a while looking at the same old faces week after week and when a new one pops up, they are all over it. It was like that for me when I joined Matchmaker. I got about 10 emails the first couple of days and probably 15 the first week. It started slowing down after a couple of weeks and now it is down to practically nothing. Not that it matters - MM was terrible.
I don't know anything specific about this site, but on a lot of them, when you are a new member, your profile is highlighted in some way or at the top of searches listed as a new member which obviously increases your visibility. But being seen is what gets you noticed and brings on more contact. Good luck donna! Hopefully one of these guys is a good one. I'll have to check out that site when I get home. Who knows?

Vex, that was my experience with MM to a tee!! I'll never join that one again.
I may check out this new one just to see how many are in my area. Though I agree with LG - new member syndrome.
