I think I should be cautious

I suspect my new acquaintance suffers from the same money/social status disease as the lawyer man did. He is MD for whatever that matter. This is the second time in the row that a man makes a comment to me "well you have a good job making good money, right?" What is wrong with men? Since when do you say stuff like that to a woman?
We agreed to meet on Friday so I have a few days to think this over.

Because no man wants a chick that looks to him for and as a paycheck. I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

I think the guys you've met are all Type A personalities!!! Those seem to categorize everything into money. They value money, they base their existence on money, they talk about their money issues...everything circles around money! (so I've heard...I'm not an expert!) I've met guys who have actually come out and asked "So, are you rich?!!"...no! I think you've just had two similar experiences close together. Just keep looking...

I agree with you. We talked on the phone last night and he mostly talked about money/business and his big med grant so I said "Wow you are such a business person. Why are you worried about all this stuff so much? It's not all about money - don't forget what you are in medicine for". I got a little annoyed.
I wish I could post out my income in my profile but I know a few co-workers on match and plus I have an ex-husband watching over me - so I don't want to state my actual income - just don't feel comfortable.
This has never been an issue before - it's just these two back to back in a row.
