Hey guys! So guess what? So far after all the wierdos and "drphilrocks" guys on match, I finally actually talked to two guys. Both are kind of cute. Neither what I am used to dating, but cute. One was emailing me through the system a bit, then trailed off. Whatever. The other was the one I was more interested in anyways. He is cute, into much of the same things and seems really nice. He actually knows one of my sorority sisters. So we chat on aol, and after a while he asks for more pics. Why? Remember I am new at this, so if alarms should be going off, let me know. Both guys, however, were pretty excited to make plans within the near future...So what should I expect from both? And is this a normal pace? And of course what was up with the picture thing?

It's impossible to know what is in his mind, but it could be him just wanting to see if your picture is an accurate representation of you. We can all find that one awesome picture where we look our absolute best, but it's hard to get a bunch of the 'most awesome' picture. Maybe he's had people show up on a first date and look nothing like their picture. If you have 3-4 pictures and you look relatively the same in all of them, that would be a good sign for the other person that you look like your picture.

What kind of pics do you have with your profile? Any full body shots? This is what people want to see, to get an idea of body type prior to meeting. Perhaps the fellow doesn't have a good enough idea of what you look like.

If you have sufficient, recent photos I don't see why you should send any more and I would consider the request a red flag. It's important get to a face to face meeting as soon as possible. Watch out for those email buddies, they are everywhere (i.e. never quite make it to a meeting, but spend an inordinate amount of time emailing/im-ing/texting).
