Put the Protein Power Shake mix down and walk away and nobody will get hurt (m)...
Okay so I goto target without having eaten anything all day (my bad) and the stock boys can hear my stomach growling, I mean small children were frightened. I decide to look for a meat stick of any kind, of course these sticks are located on aisles with lots of candy, chips, cookies and other pornographic foods that tempt the soul of any good low carber.
Of course, I called on all the low carb angels and I could think of (most of you) and ran away from the aisle. I just made it out when, breathless and still starving but now afraid to look back I realized, there in front of me was...
A brand new, unopened, for sale, container of Protein Power Chocolate Shake mix. I thought I had seen the light, a sign from lo carb heaven was right in front of me. This was my validation. I scooped it up, stuck my tongue out at the Nerds on the last aisle (the candy not the people)and went to the check out.
I couldn't wait to get home to try the shake mix. I pulled out my blender, added cold water, a splash of heavy cream and blended. It looked great. I poured it into my glass, grabbed and straw and if I had stopped right there none of this would have happened. But i didn't. I couldn't. I took a sip and lost my mind. It was the grossest, most disgusting thing I had ever eaten ( and I have eaten the peanut butter atkin's bar).
So here I am. holding a can of shake mix away from me as I type this message. I hope I can hold off the useless lo carb product closet as those expensive discarded products clamor for their new member just long enough to send this message.
Whatever you do. Don't buy the protein power shake mix. not unless your vanilla whey powder just has to have a chocolate mate.
