I would say "curvy" or "about average" ( I believe "average" nowadays is 5"4, 150 lbs"), so you're definitely fit into it.

They really should say what it stands for because unfortunately not everyone will have the same opinion when they meet her. Some men might think "wow, your perfect the way you are" others will be like " you need to loose a few" some might be wow, nice and curvy the way I like or don't like.

I'd go for curvy if you have boobs and a butt!

Wow, rich. Thanks for posting with your height/weight. I, too an 5'8" and right now weigh 165 and think of myself as huge. And honestly thought I was the only one. I am always thinking in my mind that I need to be down around 145 and am pressuring myself to drop the weight. I am right on the borderline of crossing up into size 14's which I don't want to do because it would mean a whole new wardrobe and the fit isn't so good.

Anyway, it just made me feel good to find another woman who is 5'8" and comfortable at 165 lbs although you aren't there now. Thank you.

Oh, and to the original post, go curvy... it makes the guys wonder what you mean.

I think it's very important that you choose the one that fits you. Do you feel fabulous then choose one that indicates that if you find yourself wanting to minimize that in your profile then you shouldn't be searching until you are comfortable with yourself. No one should be shopping for a relationship and expecting someone to fall in love with you if you haven't fallen in love with yourself. I have learned this in the past year as I have begun to realize for myself that I can't hide behind my extra weight and expect someone to love me when I am hiding. I am no longer hiding behind my weight and if I was choosing I would choose "Big and Beautiful" because right now that is what I am. I would also indicate in the description portion who you are and the enthusiasm for yourself will show.

Don't hide behind someone else's descriptions of us. We aren't just those few short choices. Go beyond and WOW them with who you are now even though you still have weight to lose. Make that more of a priority than finding a man.

Good Luck!!

I'm 5'7" and 160ish and honestly, men can't figure out why I think I'm overweight. I guess I carry it well or something, even though, yes, it's all boobs and butt. If I were you, I just put "average" and put a picture that really shows your body for what it is and let them judge for themselves. I know I DESCRIBE myself as curvy, but some people see that as "fat", which I'm definitely not.

It's hard for me to know what's "average" for your height, but you don't sound overweight to me and that's what "full-figured" connotes to me (although it may not have the same connotation to everyone). What size are you? If you're a 14 or less, I'd put "about average". But whatever you put, be sure to post at least one good, clear, recent full-length photo that clearly shows your body type, so people can judge for themselves.

Thanks for your help and suggestions.

I wear a size 10/12 depending on the brand and style.

Just be aware that some men will not include "curvy" as an option in their searches, as some assume it's a euphemism for large, so you may need to be more pro-active and wink/email first. I think you could definitely put "about average" if you wanted to, FWIW.
