For Current/Previous Online Daters: Do you like the "Flirt" option in online dating? (For those that don't know what it is, it's a variety of canned messages that you can send to another member instead of a personal message. They say various things like "I'm Interested in You", "Kiss", "I Like You", "Hugs"…I think you get the picture.) In what instance do you see a benefit in using them? If you don't like them or use them, why not?

For me personally, I wouldn't use them. I am a bit reserved and they are just not me. On the flip side, recieving one would not have any different an impact than a wink. If I find the sender appealing I would respond, otherwise I would let it go.
I am not a natural flirt so I find sending a kiss or a hug to a stranger odd, but I have friends who are more friendly and flirtatious and understand that is part of their banter.
Personally flirts aren't my style. He doesn't really know me and I don't know him. "Kiss" etc. seems a tad presumptuous.
My profile states, "No flirts please!" If they send anyway, I assume they can't read. LOL Gee, no one is flocking to my door either. Hmmm...
As for flirts I m not comfortable sending a kiss to a stranger:~P
No, hate them -
