So I join Match because I see a guy that I wanted to meet. I wink at him, he replies saying hello. I reply saying hello back (Email #1). Then nothing. I wait a day or two and email back saying that he seemed like a great guy and I wanted to meet him but I was going to cancel my account so I gave him my real email address (Email #2). He responds (to my match email, guess he didn't read that I was canceling my account, but I got the email anyway) the next day saying, "sounds great and thanks for the email!" and provides his real email address so I can contact him. I then, write him the next day (from my real email address - Email #3)...I wrote a little about me and asked him a couple of questions about the book he's reading THEN I wrote, "what's your story?" SO that was three days ago...should I just give up on emailing him again?

Am I just wasting my time?

Yeah, I would let it go at this point...the ball is definitely in his court. I'd email some other guys before your subscription expires!

I have SO been in those shoes before. It's not fun when someone we think appears interesting "on paper" doesn't return the interest. In my case, this is typically how it works.

I never get the guy I'm attracted to....lol
