I am saying hi to everyone with my new screen name. I had to change some things on my computer because I found out that my ex is into my emails. Gotta love it. He has mentioned things that the only way he could see is if he is in it. And i know he knows how to access it -- he's a top technology guy at he company he works. So my point is I am not new here -- just improved. I know all of you and I think some of you might recognize me when I started to participate in some of the discussions.
FINALLY I have weekend plans. I and my sister are going to an anime convention for the weekend (leaving tomorrow, will be back Sunday afternoon). If you're not interested in anime, then don't ask. As for those of you that might wonder "what's the appeal?" To me, it's a frivolous escape from the doldrums of life.
I didn't do a whole lot last weekend (besides band stuff with DS--football on Friday and a parade on Saturday... Sunday was my day to recover from it all!!!)
This weekend... well, the kids are out of school for Fall Break Friday - Tuesday---FIVE days.
I'll be leaving today! It's a little past 11 am here, and I and my sister will be going at 3 pm. We're going to dress up as lolitas tonight. I know it's not officially the weekend, but I want to look pretty. Ever seen Super Dolfies? Well, we're going to look like dolls. I think it'll be easy for me to accomplish. Several years ago, I dressed up kabuki-style for Halloween (this was before my convention days), and I was wearing several layers and I had thick makeup on. I had to use baby powder and body butter to make the white face paint.
I don't think I'll be trying to get back in the dating scene yet. It's been 10 3/4 months (I like to be exact) since I've been intimate with a man (yes, I am straight...I think), and I still think I can go longer. I know that there are people who have been single for a lot longer than I have. I'm still in my twenties though. Four years sounds like a terribly long time! But it's my turn to be picky. After always settling for less, I've decided that it's far better to be alone. I'll be fending off boys who are a waste of my time. It seems that so many men are interested in only one thing. I'm through playing that game.
I start vacation at 7:30 tonight so my plan for this (most likely) rainy weekend is to clean my cellar and clean my living room under the couches. Wednesday and Thursday I cleaned out closets and scrubbed the heck out of my bathtub. I am decluttering once again. My hope is to try putting my house back on the market since I've done a lot of work on it since I last tried to sell it.
I sooooo need to do that- a big Fall clean out. M is coming over for Thanksgiving dinner so I want the place to look good. Also, we're going skiing mid Dec and my closets are such a mess I can't find my ski boots!
Totally understandable!
Always remember to log out and clear the cookies, cache and history on shared computers!

Have fun... to an extent clearing out the clutter is fun for me.
