I was horrible!! LOL!! Someone kick my butt next time!! The guy has ghosted on me! Why if they're going to disappear do they talk in future tense about things you can do together? I thought we had recovered since I asked for a definitive boundry set. We actually went out and I thought we had a good time. He was attentive, even put his arm around me a couple of times. I know he was talking to others online as I have been (have another date next week) I just don't get it. I thought at least we were actually going to be friends... Oh well, live and learn.

I' don't get the skating honesty thing, either.... but, I know that some people will play evasive, until nothing else is working out for them, then they show back up.

I guess I've always felt like, if it's working.... yea.

Yes, I guess, but I get "crazy" over the wasted time I spent obsessing (like when I emailed you) I really would like to reprogram myself NOT to have scenarios running through my mind. My girlfriends say that they will cut me off at the knees if I pursue this one! (It's funny how they'll state their opinions after the fact!! LOL!!)I've got so much work to do on me! Sigh!

It's funny that way! About the 2 1/2 year guy, one of my friends told me, "All I could ever think of was the word "Creepy!" My friends never even met this guy either and they're all saying "Weird"!

I have one friend that will shoot straight from the hip but only if I ask! I'm praying I pass my exam on Friday (RN) and then I'm going to have some ME time!!!

Well then, good luck on the exam.... it's quite an accomplishment just to get to the point where you take the exam--lots of hard work :-)

I just had the same thing happen to me. Thank goodness I had mentally already moved on but thought we might remain friends. The only thing I ever asked of him was to tell me if he lost interest or needed to move on. Common decency, you know? I hadn't seen him in a month and he asked me out for this past weekend and then never called to confirm or cancel and I have yet to hear from him. This after he bought me a beautiful gold and dimaond necklace for Christmas (among other things). Men!

I know what you mean!! LOL!! He had just told me that he had been at this art show or in some store and wanted to get me something, but he didn't know my taste. He talked about playing tennis together, teaching him to dance, etc. etc. What's weird is at first I took it personal like he didn't want anything more to do with me, I can check on the website where he goes, infact, I'd say addicted to - and he hasn't been there since yesterday morning. That's not like him at all. I mean, I thought we were friends and I was getting ready to join match.com. (Well, I still am) It's weird. He called every day for a month and a half then nothing - I hope it's not his kids or his health. I hope he's off with some woman, at least that means the family's ok! Oh well, I guess some things we don't get closure on...
