dating....again :(

i have just turned 62. i was married for 30 years. i got divorced as of the 1st of the year, my decision. i have been on several sites for dating just checking them out. it seems that i need to try a different site. i never would have imagined that so many young men are interested in an older woman. flattering but not very practical. i'm now thinking of trying match.com or eharmony. any suggestions or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. i need to move on with my life. thank you

Hi and welcome to the board, we're glad you found us.
I think both eHarmony and Match are good sites. I don't know what your religious beliefs are but you might want to check out ChristianSingles dot com. Another neat site is OkCupid dot com, though I must admit I only know about it from my 22 year old daughter. I'm not sure how it is for people older than the college set. OkCupid is free which is a plus in my department.
If I had to use a paid online dating site I, myself, would pick eHarmony. I have belonged to eHarmony and Match in the past and I feel like a got better results from eHarmony. The people were more my type and were better matched to my tastes than when I was on Match.
I'm sure some of our posters will have some input for you too. I'd love to know what other people think about some of the sites out there.
Keep us updated on how you're doing and if you have good results from some of these sites.
I know of three successful eharmony stories. One of my good friends just met her guy there and they really hit it off. They've been seeing eachother for three months now. The two married their eharmony match.
