hey im kind of new here but could really use some advice...

im 23 and single since i got out of a relationship in may. i dated a lot during the summer but none of the guys worked out...either they werent too interested or i wasnt. for the past 2 months or so, the dating has been slowing down...in both quantity AND quality.

for example, i went on a great date with a guy from my gym a few weeks ago. dinner, great convo, laughing, etc...then he would call me every now and then or text me, but never actually ask me out again. weird. then there was another guy recently where the date started off ok, until he asked me if i would ever make out with a girl and could he watch (???) oh, and he was 28 yrs old. are guys really like this now??? where's the respect for women? or at least the first-date manners?

like most of the women posting here, i know (and so do my friends and family) that im a great catch. like i said im 23, in school to be a teacher, i do volunteer work, i play some sports, i like to do so much (outdoors, dancing, movies, etc) i have a great family and awesome friends, im smart and attractive and i go to the gym and take great care of myself. so WHERES THE RIGHT GUY?

i also realized something tonight...i went out with two of my girlfriends (who are also great catches, they are smart and successful and gorgeous inside and out). we went to dinner and a movie and had a great time. but i go home still feeling so empty and alone in my bed. even hanging out with my great friends isn't filling the void anymore.

i hope im not alone here. Where do you meet normal guys? was dating always so miserably complicated? any ideas or advice? this stinks =(

Yeah, it's pretty bad out there. The older you get, the worse it gets.
