Recently, I went away for the weekend to visit a friend and met an amazing guy(he was also visiting someone in town). We spent one night together and had chemistry like fireworks!. I know it sound corney, but i felt like i knew him already and like we would be perfect for eachother. It turns out that we live an 8 hour drive away from eachother. We have talked a couple of time online and he told me that he is planning to go and visit again in a couple of weeks, and wondered if i could make it. My troble is, that i cannot stop thinking about this guy, I want to go and meet with him again, but i don't now if i should even bother to begin getting involved with someone so far away.I know it would be diffucult to maintain a realationship long distance that has barley seen the two of us together,But I am aching to see him again. Is this just setting myself up for disappointment?

I would really appreciate any insight or advice. Thanks alot

You're going crazy thinking about a guy you just met and slept with. In the meantime, why hasn't he asked to come and see you where you live?

You don't have a relationship, hon. What you have, right now, is the memory of a great one-night-stand. He needs to let you know that he is sincerely and genuinely interested in pursuing a real relationship with you.

Long distance relationships are difficult enough between people who are committed to each other. But they are nearly IMPOSSIBLE to develop between strangers. Both people must be extremely motivated to make it work.

Long distance relationships are tough. What are his feelings on the topic? If the two people are truly committed, it CAN work....its really difficult, but if its meant to be, it can be very rewarding.
