In the beginning of the relationship, do women like that for one date I pick the spot, the next date you do? Or do you like for men to pick the spot and let you know about it for every date?

Basically, how accommadated do you like to be? I know men have to be in charge, but how much?

I like to be asked if I have a preference of the type of food we go to eat or the activity we choose. But I usually let the guy decide as a break since I'm usually the one who suggests where to go when out with friends...

Hope that helps.

I like when the man picks the spot for a first real date (as opposed to a first on line meeting - then it doesn't matter) and asks whether it is ok with me. I also am fine with suggestions of places/activities. I once had a date with a man planned 10 days or more in advance by him - the day of he calls me and asks if I will meet him at the corner of 86th street and third avenue in manhattan and we will then pick a restaurant. I replied "I don't feel comfortable meeting you on a street corner at night, why don't you pick a place and call me back" (and it was not warm out) - there are hundreds of restaurants in that neighborhood and his failure to even look in a zagats or put in any effort at all was a big turn off. He called back with a restaurant suggestion which was fine but told me during dinner he was surprised I was uncomfortable meeting him on a street corner. Next.

Hi

It's not a one size fits all answer.

it depends on the girl. i think guys should ask what the girl likes and plan the date around that; however, complete suprises are nice too. i also think that the guy should plan all the dates unless the girl say, "im going to take you out." oooo, and also guys, pick the girls up unless they say they want to drive. it is so much nicer when the guy makes the effort to come get his date. it shows you care.
