He had a concurrent girlfriend!

About 2 months ago, I broke up with my boyfriend of 4 1/2 years. We broke up because he had committment problems. When we started dating, we were living in the same city. Then he got a job and moved across the country. For a year, we struggled through a long distance relationship before I moved to the same location. Unfortunately, we now work together and have for the last 9 months. I found a job where he worked. Over the last 2 weeks, I have found out that while I was at a distance and not yet in the same workplace, he had another girlfriend...of about 3 years. Apparently they, too, have recently broken up due to his committment issues.

This news has disrupted my recovery and healing. Before, it was a committment problem. We parted mutually. Now, he's a lying cheat, and I feel used! All of my memories are now marred with this tremendous indiscretion. I am disgusted with him and extremely angry. I want SO badly to confront him and tell him I know about his infidelity. Should I confront him and tell him needs serious help? Or just let him fend for himself and move on with my life? The part of me that stupidly still cares about him wants to get him some help. The other part keeps saying, "It's not your problem. Concentrate on yourself." What do I do?

If you believe confronting him will make you feel better, I say go for it. But what confronting WONT do is help you recover, move on, forgive.
