The answer I didn't want...a rant.

Well, I guess I got my answer. this blows. hard.
Had three dates with this guy. Good dates. Dates where he always emailed me after to see how I was doing and to tell me that I was "delightful company". He took off to Asia for approx three weeks with his father on his business trip. He returned sometime yesterday (def June 6th, he starts an internship tomorrow) and not a word. Nothing. No email or call. Nada.
Man, I feel like a complete tool. It's hard to find someone you click with. Ugh.

Do you think "the new intern" connected with AN ASIAN BABE during his trip overseas?
It happens.......Pianoguy is living proof of that! Unfortunately, the ending of his relationship with her was rather tragic. :(
Give yourself permission to forget about him. 3 dates doesn't indicate much of anything these days. It usually takes at least 3...but usually 5...to determine if there's any real chemistry between a man and a woman! So you received an email after each one, but that's the same as a follow-up phone call or a snail mail card that says: "I hope you had a good time with me?"
Now there's always a possibility that once he settles into the intern position...you'll hear from him? But don't sit by the phone and wait for his call, okay?

Give it another week or so before you together write him off. In the meantime, I hope you're dating other people!

well, since it was only three dates...we obviously didn't have any sort of exclusivity talk...so he was free to hook up with or meet anyone he wanted as was I. And I DID go on four dates whilst he was gone. However, if he did meet an Asian Babe...she's left there not in his suitcase so I can't imagine that that would make an impact. Also, neither he nor I are attracted to asians (just a preference...we happened to have a discussion about that before he left). But anyways...it's not looking good.
