Here are two easy, legal-for-induction, crock-pot recipes. Even my kids like these! (m)
Both of these recipes make lots of yummy juice. For best results, skim as much of that off as you can. I pour out all of the juice, then put it through a gravy separator in small batches, and dump the grease. Then I usually run it through again, just to make sure I've gotten most of it out. What's left over is fabulous 'juice'.
3-4# chuck roast (or more if your crock pot will hold it) 1 can beef broth 1 clove of garlic cut into slivers salt and pepper
Put beef broth in Crockpot, add meat. Cut slits in the top of the roast and push the garlic slivers into the roast. Srinkle with salt and pepper. Cook all day on low.
Here's another one - very salty but I love it!
3-4# chuck roast (or more if your crock pot will hold it) 1 can beef consumme (by the Campbell's soup) 1 packet Good season's Italian dressing mix (I like Zesty) 1 packet Au Jus mix (by the McCormick seasoning packets)
Dump it all in the crockpot and cook all day on low. The meat shreds very easily and can be used alone or in other recipes, especially if you make a soup out of it. Also great with cheese melted on top. Again, this is very salty so if you don't like that then you'll need to find some salt-free substitutions.
