I need some advice

This sorta explains the situation. So you can skip this paragraph if you want if you want.
When I went to my eye exam I noticed a guy there who I thought was cute kept looking at me and was smiling. I just would smile very sweetly at him (I was half way across the room). Anyways when it came time for the preparations for the doctor the guy acted a little aloof at first and then was all smiles towards the end. I was with my mom so she could drive me home later; I had to have tests done. I picked out some glasses and when I turned to my mom to asked “how they look”. He looks up and looks at me and says they look great. Smiles at me and goes back to his work. My mom claims he likes me and claims his face lit up every time he looked at me. But she says that he was shy. I think he does but I am really bad at reading people when it comes to them liking me. Though I talked to him and kinda flirted. I am not the greatest at flirting. Also how much flirting can you do with your mom sitting right next to you? It would have been awkward.

My question is….. Am I right in the fact that he is interested? I have one more chance at him (I guess you could say). I have to go back in about a week and to pick up glasses. I really don’t want to screw it up. I thought we clicked. But I am shy.

So if he does like me.... How can I show him that I am interested without being too obvious? Or since he didn’t ask me then will he probably not ask me when I go back either?

call_me_diva...

Pianoguy (who likes to flirt every so often) would NEVER push the envelope with a woman if her Mom was sitting next to her.....ANYWHERE!

Why? Because Mom's first impressions will vary from: "Isn't he cute?" To..."if I turn my head away for 20 seconds, the man will probably 'hit' on my daughter?"

If you're going back to pick up the glasses....GO ALONE....and see if his reactions are the same? If they are...you can always suggest a "new glasses celebration over coffee?"
If he doesn't respond as cordially as the first time...FORGET ABOUT HIM!
