advice needed on calling or not

Hello,
This question probably has been asked before. I met a guy on last Sunday at a picnic. We talked in a short time with other 3~4 people together. He wrote down him number and email address to me when I said that I was leaving. I didn't give mine to him instead saying that I would contact him. I emailed him Tuesday, and didn't hear from him at all. I am wondering if I should call him. I like him a lot. I felt that he liked me too on that day otherwise why he gave me the contact information. One of possibilites is that he didn't get my email. But if it is not this case after I call him and find out. I would feel very bad.
Should I call him? Any one met this situation before?
Thanks for any advice.

I would call, just in case you misread his handwriting or something and got his email address wrong. Personally, I would pick a time when he was unlikely to answer his phone so I could leave a voicemail and ask him to return my call (rather than go through the potential embarrassment of him answering if he DID get the email and just isn't interested). But that's just me ;-).
Sheri
Thank you, Sheri. It is a good idea to pick a time to call and leave a voicemail. He gave me his cell phone, it is little hard to geuss when he is unlikely to answer his phone. I will give a try.
P.S. I didn't get him email address wrong. I found out that he has a personal website. His email address is shown in the website too. My hope is that the email-box had a problem so that he didn't get my email.
