If you love him, set him free?

Easier said than done. I broke up with my boyfriend late December. We'd been involved in a long distance relationship for ten months. 150 miles between us and a cute guy in front of me, I thought I'd have some fun. I didn't. Well, ex tells me he's heartbroken, yet the week after we break up, he goes and gets a girlfriend. Now, we talk everyday, and I realized that I made a mistake, and he told me he wanted to try again, but then he told me he couldn't give me his full committment because of the gf, whom he just couldn't break up with cos he's "a nice guy" He still expects us to be the best of friends, even though we can't be together. Like, what the heck am I supposed to do? I'm tired of crying over this. It just makes me so freaking angry when he tells me that we're meant to be together, yet does nothing to fix us. What's his deal?

His deal is he likes talking to you over the phone, he likes hearing that you still love him and want to try again. He also likes his new girlfriend.

He's not interested in giving up any of this.

I don't know what you are "supposed to do" but I suggest you move on. He's NOT such a "nice guy".

I think it would be more accurate to say "free yourself."

Well, while he's being such a "nice guy" to her, he's making YOU suffer, so he's not so "nice" after all.

Does SHE know you're in the picture? Doubt it.

Cut your losses. He wants to have his cake and eat it too.
