should I call again?

I work in a Dr office. A pt flirted with me and gave me his number. I called him 3 days later and had to leave a message. I stated who I was, left my number and said gimme a call. That was 4 days ago and he has not called back.

I am brand spanking new to this after a 12 year relationship- this is literally my first time out of the gate and I am pretty baffled about what to do.

My friend's 18 year old son said to call back and ask him out for Friday, that way he has to make a decison and I'll know what's up for sure. But I don't wanna look desparate or give him some sense of "upper-hand".

What do I do?

Hey tanmandi,
call me conservative, but HE gave your HIS number? I wouldn't even call him after that, like why didn't he ask for mine?
But it's not about me, but you! Soooo, if you want to meet him, give him a call, but if he isn't free or doesn't call you back for the 2nd time, i think it's time to move on, you know, there are plenty o'fish in the sea n all that :)
Good Luck!!! :)

If he hasn't called back, I say leave it alone.

I would not call again. If a man is interested, he will return your calls and pursue you. Trust me, I've been in your shoes!

I agree with the other posters, dont call him again. But you might want to check with the office manager or the doctor as to any policies they have about dating patients.

You called and expressed interest. I would leave the next move up to him
