... neck.
MIL and I have had a few words. She 'helped me' by cleaning my hardwood floors. She did it with a can 'pledge'. WOO HOOO! So now all of my floors are like glass. Looks fantastic~ but no one can stand on it without falling. MIL claims that my house keeper gave it to her to use. Funny thing is, my house keeper (who speaks limited English) was the one who told me that she would never use pledge on my floors because it was dangerous.
This is the same woman who when visiting us when we lived in a colder area where snow and ice was a common fact of winter, decided to melt the snow on our walk way and around the cars on the drive way by pouring hot water from the kettle on it. It refroze (big DUH here) and became smoothier and slippier (if that's even a word). The thing was, she lived in an area that was more northern than us, so it's not like she's had no experience with winter weather.

Hmmmm. Is she on any life insurance policies as beneficiary? :o)

Funny thing is, I think that MIL is trying to make me break my neck so she'll have her son back. I don't think that she understands that the slick floor is equal opportunity when it comes to falling. It can't tell the difference between my feet and DH's feet.
That's frightening! Does she show signs of being a psychopath?
