Doing Drive By's?

Hi Guys,

Just a question....I've been noticing that at approximately the time my exbf get's off work, a car (not his), pulls into my apartment's driveway, reverses, then drives right out again. I have noticed this about 3 times in the past 3 weeks. I am curious because it mimicks the behaviour of my ex. He would always drive by to make sure my car was parked in the lot. He also knows that on Thursday nights I always go to a particular bar. A bar in which he's "accidentally" shown up to when we were broken up.

He could easily get his friends to do the drive by for him to save himself the humiliation of getting caught however, I'm wondering what's the purpose?

Is it because he wants to go to the bar without worry of running into me? Perhaps he wants to bring a girl but, doesn't want me to be there to see her?

Perhaps he's painted me out to be the "stalker" and asks his friends to do this because he wants to have a good time without expecting to see me? That he would go to the bar only if he knew that I wouldn't be there.

It doesn't seem logical that a guy would confess to his friends his curiosity about his ex's whereabouts so, what could possibly be the reason that his friends would agree to do this for him? We have been broken up for so long but, these drive by's are not out of my ex's character. Why would he even care?

If it's because he still cares about me then I think his friends would just laugh at him and not play such games. However, if he pretended to be concerned about having to run into me and act like I was the "stalker" then that bothers me because I have never done a thing.

I guess I just want to be prepared for what I'm in for since I recently moved back to our hometown. Am I not only a joke to him but to all of his friends?

This may seem really trivial but it would bother me to know that he's portrayed me as such.

What could it mean?

Thanks:)
