Quick vent here so I can go to my meeting and not freak out. Found out at last minute that DS has boy scout meeting. I have a meeting at the same time. H hangs up on me when I say he has to take him. Then makes DS act as go between when I call back. Want to get DS an early dinner and H won't tell me what or if he is going to cook so I can give DS some instructions. Is yelling at DS because he is saying "Mom wants to talk to you." I DON"T KNOW HOW MUCH MORE OF THIS I CAN TAKE. This stuff seems like pretty mundane things you just take care of when you are a parent. Certainly not anything to warrant freaking out like H is.

God, I am angry. He knows I can't come home and take care of stuff so he is pulling the infantile "I'm not talking to you" crap.

Hi Mg,

Just a word of caution here. This sounds like a start of a very sick game these men use. Old Wendell used it to the fullest extent. In the beginning it was like that..conflict of schedule...child was told see your mother is to busy doing things for herself to take care of you. I would make supper, Wendell would bring him home from practice and say, oh he already ate. While DS was wrestling, Wendell would not let me cook for him because, I didn't know what to make because he had to watch his weight. The list goes on and on. It's funny because you just writing that story gave me alot of insight how this sick man slowly pulled me out of the picture. So be careful not to fall into the trap like I did.

An update. Get this. I get home at midnight after being on the go since 7 a.m. I say, "will there be an apology forthcoming?"

His response? "Apology for what? I get so sick of your attitude."

My attitude?
