Hey everyone!
It's November 1st and we have officially entered the "holiday" season, at least retail-wise we have.

I've always decorated to the hilt, baked and bought presents for everyone. I really can't enjoy the holidays this year with HIM lurking everywhere.
Laughingly told the kids that we would just max out a credit card and get out of here for xmass. My dd said we should go for it, maybe do NY or Chicago! My ds just looks at me like I've finally lost it.
Maybe will just put off our celebration till we get our own place. Might happen by 2006!!! I remember how people left up their xmas trees till their loved ones came home from the war. We'll just do the opposite. Like a war around here anyway!
He hasn't had an episode with me or the kids since he has been served - but will rip apart a poor clerk on the phone. He did that yesterday, I had a mix-up with a new cell phone for my ds and he went crazy with the poor person on the other end of the line. I'm going to call that person back tonite and appologize for his rude behavior. While he was screaming and swearing at the clerk, I felt those same old scary feelings - so I left. My ds was at work, dd is away at college.
Yeah, so forget the holidays in this house this year.
Sorry to be such a poopy pants,

Don't worry about it.

With setting the clocks back an hour, we leave in the dark in the morning and get home in the dark at night. Not fun! But we will string lights around our deck and our front porch and try to keep as busy as possible with the holidays this year to soften the blow of missing the sunshine.
I have already bought our Christmas cards for the year, couldn't pass up the deal I got for them, but that is really all we have done in the way of shopping. I will start soon though, like in two weeks!!! I am excited to shop for the kids this year. They will be spoiled and I don't care! For the first time I can just buy them whatever I want and I am loving that!
Happy Holidays!
