The lawyer called to tell me she received the psychs paper about the interviews and her opinion on the custody arrangement. The result was this:
The mother should receive full custody. The father should not be allowed to see the child unsupervised until a full psych evaluation was conducted on him.
The lawyer admitted even she was surprised at such direct wording. She wouldn't say this before the paper to avoid any problems or worrying me, but she knew this psych from other cases and the psych was usually in favour of the father. That gives the statement an even stronger impact I suppose. She also mentioned that my son drew a picture of a gun while with her. She asked me where this came from and I said I was surprised and didn't know for sure, but that PAHL was a gun hobbiest and occassionally had gun magazines in the house. (He also owned 4, 2 semi-automatic military like rifles and 2 pistols, which are fortunately in storage. I hate guns and don't even allow toy ones.) She asked PAHL about it and says in the paper that he said my lawyer instructed me to instruct my son to draw the picture. I can assure you that I would never play such manipulative games with my child as to 'make' him do or say anything. My lawyer is a professional and would never suggest such a thing. So...whatever. I guess the psych didn't take it too seriously.
That makes 3 professional psychs/counselors that have come to the same conclusion independant of me. It makes me that much more afraid of his losing control and hurting me. While I was moderately happy over the paper, the tension surprisingly increased with it. I am anxious over what his reaction will be and if it will come back onto me or my son...raging mad, depressed, or indifferent?
