I've decided that 2004 will be the year I go back to work. After being a stay at home Mom, I need to brush up on my skills which obviously means computers! For those of you in the work field, what computer classes would you suggest I take? Which programs do you use?

THANK YOU for any and all suggestions! If any of you *former* stay at home Mom's share my experience, I would enjoy communicating with you about your back to work experience. But not to clog up the board, please email me at caring4me@MAIL2LIFE.com

Hi caring:

I am a computer geek....my suggestion would be take all Cisco courses - expensive but worth it. Cisco is the world's largest networking provider (hardware and software). You'll learn configurations and touble shootiny - mainframes and networks. If you want to keep it simple just do the Microsoft certification. Let me know if you need more info. You can email me at missrae12@hotmail.com.

so funny that you should mention going back to work, because I have been thinking about that too! I am thinking about becoming a personal fitness trainer that specializes in pregnant and post natal women. I'm looking into training programs. I have a bachelors degree and worked the office job, I really don't want to go back to that rat race, can't be in a cubicle again.....so sorry, i don' thave advice for you about which computer courses for you to take.

good luck!
