Being a cop is great!

Ok so as all my friends know I had to drive up to LA last night and pick my mom up. Well of course I was doing like 90. It is a two hour dive trying to make it go bye fast. 45 min into my trip I saw a bright light behind me. I was like crap it is a moter cop. I didn't want to be too obvious so I just took my foot off the gas. He lit me up and I pulled over. He came to the window and said drivers lic and reg. He said I pulled you over for going 84 in a 65. I said ok. I told him ever move I needed to make so I wouldn't get shot. I said ok I need to reach in my purse to get my ID. He said ok. Wellllllllllllllll I didn't make it obvios but I opened my wallet which conviently has my ID and badge in it to get my drivers lic. He had his flashlight on it. He saw it. I handed him my Drivers ic and told him I needed to reach in the glove box for the reg. HE said "who do you work for?" I said, "the sheriff's dept" he said are you a deputy? I said yes. He handed my lic back and said he was having a bad night and for me to have a good night and slow down. Heheheh I love it. I have been on the dept for five years and wondered how you you would just ahppen to show your badge when youget pulled over. Cause we are not suppose to do it on purpose. Si that was my first time and it was cool.
ok now that I have made some of ya'll sick. My drive was ok got my mom and made it back ok. I am at work right now for my first night back on nights. Shift change. So this is my work week so I probably will be scarce around the board this week.
BUT I am done with Day 4 of NC including reading her boards. Yipee. I also deleted his number from my cell phone. Next is to delete all e-mails from my work computer, home computer and throw out his cards and letters. Day by day. I WILL make it.
Everyone have a nice weekend while I have to work:-(

I Always watch my rear. Last ticket was in 1993! But, I would be happy to borrow your I.D. anytime!!!
Keep going forward. You'll reach your destination if you simply put one foot in front of the other! Sometimes to keep your balance you need to step back, but do so as little as possible!
You go girl!!!!
Love,
Sweet
Enjoy your mom. Take care
You are a model of strength these days. Good for you! Enjoy the time with your mom and your newfound freedom.

my friend would say "my dad's in the 45" and she would get out tickets too.
I'm just a regular schmuck, so I would pay my tickets.
