are things you do that take you out of yourself; things that make you forget about your troubles; things you enjoy so much that time just zips by and you feel at one with the world.

What are some of your flow activities? Mine are: serving food to our local soup kitchen for the homeless; listening to music; playing baseball with my children; writing.

Someone recommended that i do more flow activities and less worrying about my troubles; spend time enjoying the things i love. When i do flow activities, they do help me forget about the last year i've been through and stop me from worrying about the year to come.

What about you?

Hey

Music (classical and some old love songs), and walking though the woods in the summer time.

No, question for me it's gardening! I love to get my hands in the dirt, move plants around, plant a new color scheme. It allows me to be creative while working at my own pace. I can try new plants and colors. The fruits of my labors are there to behold.

Thank God for springtime!

Spring cleaning has been keeping me afloat as of late. I enjoy decorating and studying for my certifation exam which I hope to take in August. I love going out with friends and fine dining, unfortunately my friends cannot do that that often.

I do yoga!!! And after I'm done I'm usually too peaceful and physically exhausted to worry about anything! If I don't have a few hours to devote to yoga and I just need to flow for a shorter period of time, I read alot of spiritual books, drink coffee and talk to good friends.

Another yoga person here. Other flow activities for me -- walking or working out with my friend, spending time in the sunshine doing anything with my kids, reading, enjoying a good "girls' night out" w/ my best girlfriends, playing the piano, having good sex with my DH! ;-)

I volunteer at a rottweiler rescue and train obedience. Sometimes I just socialize with them and walk them and other times I get down and dirty cleaning, scrubbing and feeding. I also love working around my two acres in my many flower gardens. Seems like when I'm not actually in the gardens, I enjoy skimming catalogs and planning for future gardens. I ride in a Harley Davidson motorcycle club.

Lately I've found myself remodeling a few rooms in my house and discovered I really enjoy mudding and sanding and preparing walls for paint (not to mention the subsequent shopping for new stuff to add to the the refurbished rooms).
