I stopped at the grocery store on the way to work this morning and ran into xAP. I heard, "Dee?" (not my really, insert my real name there) and turned around to be facing xAP. Guess what I was buying! Monostat. Yep. I have a yeast infection. hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! So, there I was.... monostat in hand, along with a powerbar and a six pack of diet Coke. OMG. Could it get any funnier. Maybe. If I'd been buying condoms and lube. But, alas, no.
He said, "HI! how are you." and I replied, "I'm great. but, I have to run... late for work." and I said 'bye' and walked on by.
I probably would have been all verklempt, but thank goodness I was too focused on being mortified! ha.
(and, NO, E1. I did NOT hug him.)
I hope everyone has a good Monday.

Good for you!!!!!!! I'm sorry you had to run into him, but not sorry that you got to show yourself how strong you really are. Even if it did shake you a little, you didn't show him.
You've come a long way and never forget the progress that you have made!
Oh Dee-toxing,
So sorry you had to even see him but you handled it soooo well!!!!
Yes when I’m carrying Monistat around a store I pray that I don’t run into anyone I know let alone xAP.
But Dee you have given me an idea (insert light bulb)!
Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
OH MY GOODNESS!!! Dee- i'm so sorry you ran into him, but honey, you made me laugh out loud!!! I needed it today :)
I'm so proud of you! You handled it well- hey, i bet you never thought a yeast infection could be a blessing in disguise, huh??? LOL!

Dee!!
I am doing a little snoopy dance for you right now.
LOL that's too funny!!!! Especially the part where you wrote that xAP said: "Dee?" and where you wrote that that's not the name he used LOL
You did very well!!
Dee -
I think only you could turn such a tumultuous and emotional moment into a funny one.
Don't mean to hijack this thread but you bring up a very good point that in real life, most of us ARE going to run into our xaps at some point while running through the course of our every day lives. I wonder what is the best way to handle that and does it depend on how long you've been out of the A? I couldn't imagine driving 30 minutes out of my way to avoid a very slight chance encounter with xap. If I ran into xap I would probably just smile, flip him off or act like I didn't see him. Hmmm....I may start a thread with this discussion topic....
