I made it through the wilderness - as Madonna likes to say.
I married in 2003, had a baby, and when she was 15 months old I decided to start a construction project on my house.

Hi Candoit. (((Hugs)) girl!
There is a thread in the Healing Library called "Place for Success Stories" and I would love it if you would copy and paste yours there. It's a keeper, honey.
I'm so glad you returned to tell the newbies that there *IS* light at the end of that long, dark tunnel. We love it around here when an oldie but goodie returns. ;-)
Congrats on your new relationship and may the sun shine in your life forever and a day.
Love and hugs,
~Iddy~
Hi Cando!
Thanks for sharing your story. It gives us just starting this journey some hope that eventually we will heal and this will be behind us. I appreciate your insight about how much the experience changed you. I am just 63 days out and already I feel like a completely different woman... a better woman than I was before or during the A. Healing takes time... thanks for reminding me of that today.

Thanks for sharing your journey. It’s interesting how many come to the board and others single and married alike and say how if only their xAP would leave his/her spouse, the poster states they would give up everything to be with xAP. Your story shows how even if the opportunity presents itself, it does not mean you and xAP will end up in a RL relationship at least not one that lasts.
Sometimes we end up in a place and with a person because we are running away from some problems in our life.
Whether you think you can or you think you can't you are probably right. A parrot can repeat what it has learned but the mark of true intelligence is applying what is learned.
Hi Iddy - thank you and glad to see you are CL.
