This really almost frightens me. Is it really EVER over? Are the men more likely to make contact than the women? I have read thread after thread after thread of things starting again. Sometimes I feel like we will be looking over our shoulders for the rest of our lives or trying to prevent our own moment of weakness. UGH.

Well in our case he made contact first most of the times we tried to break it off, which were many.

Well, at least I don't have to worry about the work car thing. I work from home and he is 45 minutes away. But the fact is that he is single (although trying to date) and he has no wife to go home to. Bigger Ugh.

I know what you are saying...I still get emails at work (we work together) asking "How are you getting along?" or "Are you doing ok?".

first off--MAD PROPS to you for deleting the email. whenever i receive an email from xAP, my heart lurches and i have every reaction from nausea to excitement to utter disdain, and it takes all my strength to hit the delete button.

2nd of all, he's fishing. this is what happens. everybody's lost during the A, one person calls time of death, there's repeated attempts to resuscitate, and then silence, and then somebody wants to resurrect the ghost. he's missing you, its been 3 weeks, suddenly he's remembering the good things, and he wants to fish both to boost his ego and to reconnect with you.

stick to your path and keep on keepin' on. dont let this dude back into your life. take it from me, i've done it, and i ALWAYS end up regretting it. you dont owe him anything. you're ending the A for you, and he may never agree or understand why, but its for the best baby.

Hi Lun. I was not surprised that he reached out to you. Is there a way to block his emails from your email? I was especially amazed at the gall that he sent it to your work email. Glad you didn't respond to his fishing;)
