Point of "indifference"??

I think I’m getting to that point of feeling “indifferent” now towards XAP.

I think indifferent in this situation is a good place to be. I know once I reached the point of indifference with my H, I knew it was over. In that case it is sad. Because when I cared enough to get angry and want a change, there was still passion in that. But once I got to the point that nothing really even made me angry, I knew we were done.

I would love nothing better than to be at indifferent with xap. I go back and forth between love and hate. Once I reach indifferent I will know I am cured.

I suppose indifference comes in stages - initially - the loss of having your emo tank filled up on a daily, hourly, moment by moment basis is so great that most all of us struggle and grieve so hard and so much because let's face it - it feels good to have your ego stroked and someone in the world that thinks you are amazing....

Let me just say first that I definitely wouldn’t say I am cured, I believe I am a long, long ways from that.

It is a vicious cycle, isn't it?

Be glad you don’t run into him, it is much easier. I know there might be days when you think “I look extra-good today and man, I’d love to run into him just to show him what he’s missing and what he can’t have” and I think that is normal and we’ve all felt that way but it is so much easier if you don’t have to deal with him on a daily basis. Out of sight, out of mind…….there really is a lot of truth to that saying.
