Oh that's terrible. I can never remember.

I usually just take Tylenol. If you get hungry, eat something not too heavy. And drink lots and lots of fluids. Not alcohol. Hot black tea, chicken soup, etc.

If you can't eat, try popsicles and again drink lots. Hot black tea, chicken broth, warm ginger ale.

Make yourself some hot lemon and honey to drink. Squeeze a fresh lemon, boil some water and add as much honey as you like to it. If you have a thermos, make enough to keep in the thermos and drink it regularly, especially during the night, when you wake up and feel terrible.

My mother used to make this for us when we were children, and it helps a lot. She would also just make a thick syrup with honey and lemon, and feed it to us in little spoonfulls.

Do you have a humidifier? Get that going, they usually have a place where you can put things like Vick's VapoRub, which releases its vapours and helps to clear the air passages. Rub some of that on your chest, if you can stand the smell of it, it will help there, too.

Stay warm and rest up! Get better soon.

I have a mineral bath soak from Village Natural Therapies that is to help relieve the aches, pains, congestion, etc from colds. I love it. (And it was only $5 at WalMart)
